d&a works with American Institute of Architects, Tampa Bay to develop a local economic indicator called the “Voice of Architecture.”
The Voice of Architecture is a survey of architects in the greater Tampa Bay area whose collective opinions provide insight into construction-related development. Architects work at the inception of the construction process, which makes their workload an indicator of future construction activity. For instance, if architects report having a large workload then it follows there will likely be a large amount of construction activity over the next year, while smaller architect workloads indicate a slowdown.
Last year’s Voice of Architecture generated news coverage (Tampa Bay Times, St. Pete Catalyst) and included a panel discussion event to release survey results with expert interpretations.
